The Belt Song by Jim The Belt Song lyrics Sometimes I wear a belt to keep my pants from falling to the floor, and if my pants should fit without my belt I don't wear it anymore. Sometimes I drink a beer for breakfast if there's nothing else to eat, and if my toes get cold I'll wrap a pair of socks around my feet. And if I'm feeling tired I'll take time out to crawl into my bed, and if I'm bored with doing one thing I'll do something else instead. And if I feel like doing nothing, or there's nothing to be done, I'll sit and ponder nothing blankly until nothing seems like fun Refrain: Life's fairly easy for me if I try, to sit back and watch as it passes me by... The worst thing to happen to me would be death, my troubles ain't worth the attention they get. Some days I go out of my way to try to catch a pretty face, sometimes I think that there's not one worth catching in the whole damn race. Sometimes I stare up in the sky and wonder what is really there, and then on second thought I decide that I really just don't care. Some days I wake up in the morning, and I don't get out of bed, and it always seems more fun than if I'd gotten up instead. Sometimes I wear a belt to keep my pants from falling to the floor, and if my pants should fit without my belt I don't wear it anymore. (solo) (Refrain 2x)
